If a meter has been attached to an incorrect Facility, it can be moved to another Facility within the same Portfolio, so long as it is not attached to an account. To move a meter, select the meter icon from the Facility Tree view in the Buildings & Meters Tab. Select the Move Meter button from the Tasks area. A search box appears to match facility details against text entered into the search box. The matching fields include Facility Code, Name, Street, Phone, Account Numbers, and user defined Alternate Identifiers. As text is entered, a list of possible facilities will populate the pick list. Select one for the move and then click Done.
If the meter needs to be detached from the account, select Edit Meter, then Account, and remove the account information. Click Done, and then select Move Meter to set up the move. The meter can then be associated with an account within the new facility.
